Patrick Cahill
Born in Dublin in 1954, Patrick Cahill spent the first part of his career as a graphic artist. He was elected to the Watercolour Society of Ireland in 1980. For the last ten years he has devoted himself fully to painting, exhibiting widely in solo shows and group exhibitions throughout Ireland. His paintings in oil and watercolour, of city life, landscapes, horses and still life, earned him the prestigious O'Sullivan Graphics Award at the Watercolour Society of Ireland in 1998.
