Franz Posch
"Cosmopolitan Of Art"
Born in 1948 in Hall, Tyrol, Austria. Franz Posch is very deeply rooted in his home country Tyrol, but he has also been to India, Africa, Latin America and the Tuscany. All these places and some other worldwide stages have influenced his artistic creativity.
The topic of his works is as diverse as his expressive forms in various graphic and painting techniques which he has learned with greatest interest since his early youth and which he has perfected with the help of renowned artists.
The painting of landscapes is his true love, especially the ones of the Tuscany. He one of the few painters who is brilliant at representing the "feeling of the Tuscany" with his paintings of the landscape and the towns. With his natural colours mixed with earth-colours of the Tuscany he conveys the bitter-sweet heaviness, the wistful silence and melancholy, but also the bewitched harmony and the ease of lifestyle, which facilitates the feeling of well-being in the open countryside and under the protective roofs of the historic towns.
